At 3:30pm agents Hurst and Zukov head out of the UMC for the 4pm meeting at Vykhino Monorail station. Hurst drives ahead with Zukov tailing at a distance, he pulls into the small car park and gets out of his car. The station is relatively busy as it approaches rush hour. It begins to lightly snow as he walks to the stairs leading up to the raised platform, Hurst notices an odd tramp hanging around but giving him no real attention carries up onto the platform. Meanwhile Zukov also pulls his car up nearby and approaches on foot, he taps into local security and satellite systems gaining a birds eye view of the platform where Hurst is now waiting. A woman dressed in a thick fur coat and a scarf hiding most of her face approaches Hurst. Selena greets Hurst telling him they are getting on the next train to pull into the station and then injecting him with a anti bugging serum. A few minuets later a train pulls into the station and Hurst is pulled by Selena towards the rear most carriage which despite the large number of people entering and leaving the train is generally being ignored by the other passengers. Zukov not wanting to loose Hurst begins to move in on the station reaching the steps a tramp stumbles into him heavily, Zukov feels a need pierce his side and dizziness quickly follows. Stepping back Zukov manages to fire off a laser shot at the tramps chest knocking him backwards. Zukov then leaps towards the stairs injecting him self with an adrenalin and antitoxin cocktail, he reaches half way to the platform when his leg gives out, his shin explodes out shot from behind. Glancing back towards the tramp now levelling a silenced pistol he hears the doors closing on the train and the engines begin to whine. Activating his cloak and anti gravity fields he leaps the rest of the distance to the platform and then onto the back of the train as it pulls out of the station. Inside the train the carriage is pretty much deserted apart from Umbridge sitting patiently with another figure not familiar to Hurst. The man calls himself Gregov and admits that that is a fake name. He is the personal aide to one of the symposium members and is here because Umbridge and Selena contacted him. He is disturbed by the vicious double dealing that is going on within the symposium and is willing to help Umbridge and co to resolve the issue and help stabilise the fractions in the symposium before it come to violence. He did not want this but CONTROL seem to not care what is going on. Hurst questions him on the symposium and what is know of Bogdan Knoss most of what he says agrees with what Zukov has told Hurst in the past although Gregov does reveal that Bogdan was the founder of the seven stars but was taken by the quiet hence their desperation to take him out. Gregovs main concern is that the fraction supporting the resurrection of Bogdan has been more confident as if they know something the others don't. Gregovs boss has had him investigating their recent activity, they seem to be indirectly contacting an agent Markel as if they didn't really want the others to know of their link to him. They are also showing a lot of interest in agent Zukov, although unable to access them they seem to have large files about agent Zukov seemingly linking him in some way with Bogdan. A recent report even suggests that they had his old mentor recently recalled from autochthonia. The discussion continues for some time then as the train begins to reach its next station Gregov makes his goodbyes and as the train passes through a tunnel he disappears. Arriving at the station Hurst disembarks leaving Selena and Umbridge on the train. Meeting up with Zukov they both make their way back to the UMC.
Krenyenko finds himself in a large stately bedroom Vladimir sat reading nearby, looking up as he awakens. They discuss the fact that Krenyenko can't go back to the Union now but Vladimir suggest he should come with him to a meeting tonight with the rest of his Cabal of the Seven Stars. Krenyenko agrees and Vladimir finds him some clothes and food and they sit and play a long game of chess ending in stalemate.
Volyova takes Oleg and Mikheil and they head out to begin the surveillance of Dimitry Egerov. Driving to his workplace at IVS Financial Oleg and Volyova taking the cover of IT engineers enter the building and find their way to an empty office. Oleg taps into the security systems and they quickly locate Dimitry at his desk looking anxious and distracted from his work. Leaving oleg to monitor things there Volyova returns back to the UMC. Receiveing a message from Yankovich saying the clone is ready.
Krenyenko awakens with a start, he is naked lying on a cold steel operating table, Vlad peering at him through his thick round glasses. Sitting bolt upright he head buts Vlad knocking him back. Vlad is as puzzled as Krenyenko saying that he randomly found him whilst getting some equipment from Yankovichs lab. Kenyenko remember a file and the amalgam trying to hack it then the need to run away and an explosion. Vlad administers some medical treatments and deactivates Yankoviches device attached to Krenyenkos arm. He seems to have been unconscious for almost a whole week. Leaving the lab and finding some clothes he heads directly to Conrads office. Meanwhile Zukov and Hurst have been searching for Markel and as a last attempt to find him they head to see Conrad, who tells then he is supposedly in a closed session with the symposium. as they leave the office and head back to the lab they see Krenyenko hobbling towards them. They pounce on him and hold him at gun point, quick interrogation reveals that this Krenyeko is different to the one that disappeared a few hours ago from the lab. Sending Volyova down to see Vlad the others escort Krenyenko to Conrad. Conrad is surprised to see krenyenko and then after shutting the door explains how this Krenyenko shouldn't be awake as a deep cover clone has been set up as his replacement and is being used to infiltrate the cabal of seven stars, this clone is programmed to send a subconscious signal when in the presence of the seven stars.
Volyova enters Vlads lab finding him in the process of dismanteling Oleg, Volyova sends an emergency code to the others in Conrads office and then begins a tirade against Vlad who is shocked by the hostility. The others arrive and join in, demanding explanation for the disruption of their operation by Vlad. Zukov even tries to drag Vlad away and suffering the spiky consequences eventually Conrad steps in a calms things down promising to make sure Vlad is reported for his actions to disrupt the amalgam and that he will restrict his access to the amalgam. Sated the amalgam headed out to IVS to resume surveillance. After several hours of watching Egerov heads down to his car and begins to drive, the amalgam follow. He drive to a remote warehouse surrounded by a heavily warded fence at which the amalgam stops and sends in surveillance rats and hunter seekers gently piercing the wards.
Meanwhile, Vladimir gives Krenyenko his devices and clothes finding he has several messages demanding to know where he is and an email talking about a Dimitry Egerov. After dressing Vladimir leads him down to a basement room with and alter and magical symbols drawn over the floor. They step through an archway and find themselves stood in a large warehouse with 9 other figures. Vladimir (The 1st Star) dressed in Green Robes with various hermetic symbols, and his white beard, Haldir (The 2nd Star) dressed in Biker leathers, goggles, and a utility belt, Valinski (The 3rd Star) she is dressed in T Shirt and jeans, with dirty hands and face, and braided hair, Z86 (Twins) (The 5th Stars) wearing White and silver suits, dreadlocks, hitech glasses and wires running all over their faces, Murska (The 6th Star) wearing top hat and tails, Algard (The 7th Star) in a long coat, tight t shirt and combat pants. Dimitry Egerov has also just arrived in his car and agent Markel is also stood nearby looking impatient to get on with proceedings. [Note:: there is no 4th star as he died trying to kill the unborn Bogdan Knoss] Above watching through a skylight a cloaked hunter seeker watches as Vladimir asks Markel to hand over the Urn. The seeker returns to the amalgam and reports, Zukov begins seeding the air above the building with a poisonous nervetoxin. Inside Markel asks to see the pendant first and the top hat pulls and amethyst pendant from his inner pocket, Markel smiles and begins to move towards a stack of crates as if to reveal something. Two plasma blasts suddenly tear the pale man wearing top hat and tails into a burn and bloody mass. The entire room turns to face the two Hit MARKs firing from the other end of the warehouse. Both Markel and Krenyenko dive for the pendant Markel getting there just before, they begin to grapple each other for it. Outside the amalgam here the gun fire and not waiting for the back up charge in towards the warehouse coordinating a synchronised attack. As they burst in from various aspects of the building they see the 7th star blasted in a shower of plasma even as the 2nd star uses some device to scramble the hitmarks implants. Hurst and Krenyenko burst on the raised office and platform taking firing positions as Volyova and Zukov leap down through the skylights. Volyova lands on the 2nd Star twisting and snapping his neck whilst landing perfectly. Zukov fires the plasma cannon as he falls encasing Vladimir the 1st star in a shell of plasma, landing on him they both fall to the floor even as Zukov spots Krenyenko and Markel fighting over a pendant that he feels strangely draw to.
Shots ring out and Hurst wounds the 3rd Star with multiple shots to the torso, and Krenyenko shoots Krenyenko in the arm forcing him to let go of Markel and the Pendant. Vladimir vanishes from beneath Zukov even as the remaining stars also disappear. The two krenyenkos exchange fire and the clone begins to attempt an escape through the smashed skylight. Zukov charges Markel knocking out the way as he grabs the pendant, and then stops in his tracks a a jolt of electricity passes down his arm. Arcs of static electricity and raw primium energy leap from him almost hitting the nearby Volyova. Zukov manages to inject a tranquilliser into himself. The krenyenko clone hits the cloud of nerve agent and begins to fall but is caught in an arc of energy which begins to drain his lifeforce. Zukov begins to transform into an old man as five object spring into existence around him. Hurst and Volyova fire destroying one of the artefacts but the energies continue to grow and parts of the building begin to collapse and crumble as the energies smash into them. Then four figures de cloak around the transforming Zukov wearing suits but brandishing ancient weapons. They destroy the remaining artefacts and then begin to lay hands on Zukov and chant in ancient Egyptian. Krenyenko aims a shot at them but Volyova stops him as the old man features revert back to the familiar face of Zukov. The energy dies down leaving a metallic smell in the air and an odd sense of calm. Krenyenko moves in on the figures but his sensors and scanners say they are normal humans despite their situation. With a flick of their cloaks they disappear even as UMC vehicles smash through the doors and security forces move into to secure the area Conrad among them. Conrad approaches the amlagam and stops them before they can recite the events that have taken place, he orders them to come with him back to the UMC where they are lead down to a transported in the basement of the main building each stepping into the gyroscopic device.
The amalgam are standing in a bright white room with no obvious doors or windows, a single multi directional camera watches them. A cold voice informs them that "this is CONTROL" the machine like device congratulates the agents for their part in a great plan. Bogdan Knoss was the bait in a complex trap meant to draw out both the seven stars and a second deviant group of which very little is known other than they want Bogdan destroyed. Control allowed the UMC to become autonomous and for artefacts to slowly be brought together for the purpose of observing the unknown entities in action, data is even now being downloaded from the amalgam. Now the situation is stabilised CONTROL will now be conducting a full audit of the UMC and the actions of those in command positions.........
