Sorry for the lateness. Been feeling too blech to compose this this week.

Nai decided that two Reborn should be sufficient power to drive the hidden corruption. He decided to wait a while rather than taking the raw medicine, so that it's side effects could be tempered. The ritual and the potion worked. Nai felt terrible winds tugging at his soul, he felt it changing. His P'o had gained power at the expense of his Hun.

Yoshino left Mikaboshi tower in her body, and immediately set off for work. Which involved finding a broken mirror portal that lead to Beijing and passing over. Yoshino feared what the Mandarins would learn about her branding, disregarding the reassuring words of it being hidden spoken by an agent of Yomi seemed like wisdom to her. She fled to Hong Kong and went under cover seeking Gan Shuo.

The rest returned to Beijing and found themselves being asked a serious of questions on philosophy and politics and the like. Such wonders as 'did Being come before Not-Being'?, facing trials of combat, of will and of spirit. Xian and Aki both were overcome by their shadow nature and made quite the scene, those that witnessed it seemed to be unsurprised.

Deciding that being hidden was not for the best, Yoshino to underwent the trials, and passed.

Neverthless, their souls were deemed clean from taint after their time spent in the Yomi Worlds, but no doubt tongues may be wagging in the Blood Court about the Running Dragons, for good or ill.

They were sent to India (along with Temujin), on the trail of Shih that had become uncharacteristically organised and were killing people of respectable Dharma. The Blood Court feared a charismatic leader had arisen amongst their ranks, and they were eager to learn what they were up against.

The Infinite Thunders Court is largely reviled in China, but they cooperate in such times. They met Daksapati Choudhari at Bangalore International Airport. He lead them to someone they were following who they suspected of being a Shih from some chance overheard comments. He seemed to wandering the city, talking to folk and helping them out in various little ways.

They identified the hotel he was staying in. They were watching him at the market when during a heated discussion, Temujin leaned over and went to slap Nai's face. It will no doubt be the source of much debate whether the blow landed, all that can be said for now is that a car-fight broke out.
K & J - characters need generating. No backgrounds needed - though if anybody wants to make one I won't complain. Just create starting characters and add 35 experience points should be a good start, comparisons to the characters will be useful.

Also - everybody playing should think about a name for the wu (coterie).

Chinese gangs for example: Flying Dragons, Ghost Shadows.

Or something magisterial like Four Tangs of Chung Kuo, or
or more infamous sounding like Ping Tiao :-D

Some names from the official books:

The Righteous Devils of Kowloon
Victorious Whirlwind
The Bone Web
Sublime Caretakers
Sages of the Fivefold Way
Gnashing Dragon
Flayed Monkey
Flashing Carp

So suggestions?
Screeching owls
Intolerant Dragons
The thrashing panda company.
