The meeting of the mages

Thomas found himself being pursued by Trilobyte while in an ethereal form.

Then Thomas found himself in a physical form once more. Still from the perspective of a Burly Oriental man. Sat crossed legged in his makeshift basement dojo waiting for his friends who begin to arrive.

Meantime Anthonio, experiencing things from Elaine Wood's point of view, went to a Laundromat, made his/her way to the basement dojo and met with the Burly Oriental man, sat on a bean bag and zoned out.

Brother Phoenix (the burly Oriental man): It appears that Agent Saul Osiecki has escaped us again. I think his vampire allies might have assisted him.
Marcus: What kind of Union Agent has vampire allies anyway? I doubt he's one of them. I'd say he was was one of them Maruaders or Left-handys or whatever
Phoenix What do we know of these vampires? I have been pursued by at least one of them already.
Old Guy I tried to purchase blood from one of them that seemed to be following Elaine around. He wasn't interested so I had to bust in and get something directly. I got some hair. They're definitely vamps, seem to have some kind of powers to raise the dead.
Marcus Or rot the living....these are seriously sick fuckers. Damballah had just finished setting up a ritual out back, it should have drawn the vamps out exposed them all so that we would know precisely who was what and all that shit. It was some sick female vamp that strung him up by barbed wire, they didn't even give us time to retrieve the body! Elaine tried to figure out where they had taken him, but her rote backfired badly, she fell into the Quiet and nothing has made sense since.
Phoenix Yes, it seems that cause and effect have become most confused. Elaine's fiance almost killed himself when she didn't show up.
Marcus Some ugly fuckin' vamp almost pushed him off too - it was everything I could to keep him from jumping.
Phoenix With the temporal lines damaged by Elaine's paradox who can be sure who is pursuing who here?
Marcus Its worse than that - I managed to get a decent photograph one of those vamps, and I developed it using my 'procedure'. The entropic ripples point to something bigger than we are at work here. I don't think Elaine's backlash was just bad luck.
Old Guy The number of hostiles in this area may be too much for us.
Phoenix I think it would be wise to leave Chicago. With Saul missing, numerous violent vampires chasing us and an insane paradox fuelled Cult of Ecstasist in our charge we would be fools to stick around.
Marcus All in favour of leaving raise your hands....

Anthonio came around with the phone receiver in his hand, miles away from the payphone it was once attached to. Gideon was shaking him. It had been four days, days that Gideon had spent searching the sewers with no further clues. Days that Fredegar had spent 'asking around' about the other Nosferatu.

The feeding disaster

As Fredegar was riding on his {undefined object - bike76649 at line 24} he caught sight of Thomas sat on a wall nodding his head to non-existent music. Fredegar invited Thomas to go feed. It didn't go well. In fact it went very badly wrong.

Very badly wrong.

Once Fredegar saw the savagery that Thomas was putting a poor tramp through - tearing out his throat with his bare fangs, he was forced to intervene and try and save the life of the dying man. Thomas lost control of himself then and began a frenzied attack to get at the brains/heart/flesh/blood of the dying man whose vital fluids stained the alleyway floor.

Fredegar fled up a fire escape with the man in tow, and once Thomas had calmed down he rode to hospital hoping that the doomed man might possibly be saved.


Innoculation

They met at the Arts Club of Chicago, 109 E Ontario Street wherein the Tremere would be injecting them with chemicals that they trusted would be in their best interest. While there, Gideon spoke with DuSable about the strange 'visions' that Anthonio and Thomas had had. DuSable was able to confirm the existence of magic wielding mortals but was unsure of some of the terminology they were using. He said he'd look into it.

The Garbage Gang clean up

With the cure in their vitae the Garbage Gang headed to the laundromat at Maximum Speed. Anthonio did not make it. Gideon arrived and proceeded to perform donuts outside it



Eventually Fredegar turned up, steered towards the Laundromat at 65mph, overshot it, skidded across the road slammed into a completely unrelated buidling twatting it and his Winnebago.

The Garbage Gang were ready to clean up!

Unfortunately it seems someone had cleaned up before them. The place was mostly emppy of clues, just a singular Chicken Scale was found - along with some scattered bean bags. Fucking hippies

Impersonation -> Herdon

While impersonating the Mages they had marked onto their shit list at the old Succubus Club, Thomas sans disguise, was approached by a young punk who gave him a package. "Guy told me to give this to you", he muttered.

In the package was antique notebook. Within the antique notebook was a letter:

Dear Friends,
I will soon have an item in my possession that, considering your shall we say "interesting background", you may well find of great value. The item is, in fact, a manuscript of great antiquity. I am as yet unable to confirm its provenance, but its creation would seem to date back to the 14th Century. Its actual contents would seem to date back even further. perhaps to the pre-Biblical period of the Near East (I apologize for being so circumspect, but you will understand my need for caution.) This manuscript is described as the Apocrypha to a work with which I understand you are familiar: the book of Nod. It has been expressed to me that this manuscript will be of inestimable value to you in your search for Golconda.
The Apocrypha will soon be available for purchase. When this transpires, I will once again make contact with you to inform you of the details. In the meantime, please accept as a gif that which carried this note. Although a mere bagatelle, I hope you will accept it as a token of the respect in which I hold you.

Furious and the Investigative

Gideon was furious to learn that Saul had been shipped to Germany before he was able to speak with him. He considered it the most deep betrayal ever "Trilobyte, gen a new character: You are dead to me now".

Thomas began investigations into Dennis Herdon. Thomas did know that Herdon was a dealer of antiquities but that is all he knew.
