It is the autumn of 1503:
• Henry Tudor created Prince of Wales (later Henry VIII).
• The 2nd Lithuanian war with Russia (1500-1503) ended with a treaty. Lithuania lost a fourth of its territory.
• Christopher Columbus beached his sinking ships in St. Anne’s Bay, Jamaica, and spent a year shipwrecked and marooned there before returning to Spain.
• Alexander VI, Spanish Pope (1492-1503), died. - Giuliano della Rovere was crowned as Pope Julius II.
• Nostradamus prophet, was born in St. Remy, Provence, France.
• Leonardo Da Vinci began painting the "Mona Lisa."
• Canterbury Cathedral was finished after 433 years of construction.
• The pocket handkerchief came into general use in polite European society.

On an autumn day in the year 1503 four sorcerers unknown to one another, going about their daily business, one a swashbuckling celestial master who had braved the great void and returned, the second a shadowy character of untold intentions, the third a drunken aristocrat seer who revelled in his decadence, and a forth a travelling rabbi giving direction to his people. Each in turn was approached by an agent of the Magistrate Lorenzo Bianchi, who delivered a message summoning each magus to a meeting at Plato’s academy in the glorious city of Florence. On the third day weather the mages arrived in Florence on time or not they found themselves together in the study of the Magistrate. The magistrate advised them of a mission of up most importance and secrecy, to investigate strange disappearances around sky city.

ve Together the four mages set off from Florence on “the ghost of Prometheus” but the journey to sky city was not without its own events, 3 days into the flight a band of privateers up to no good attacked “the ghost of Prometheus”, however the mages and the crew were ready for them and managed to out manoeuvre the enemy and destroy their ship the “Tortuga”.

The newly formed cabal arrived safely in Sky City a place where mages and pirates walk shoulder to shoulder and murder and corruption are common place. Four routes of investigation began:

Alexandros the flamboyant noble seer set himself up as a merchant and began fishing for rumours at the market and in the more unsavoury parts of the city! he heard many stories and rumours but non for sure, he did however make the acquaintance of the Melvin and Augustus and there strange potions and machines one of which was missing a weapon of power lost,

elsewhere whilst Ariel the rabbi found his lost people in dire need of his help after their protector another Lion of Zion known as Lior disappeared from his ship "The Golden Spiral",

captain Luigi took to the Cats Nipple a tavern of ill repute, there he heard tales of ghost ships and the “Clandestine Folly” , watched by a shadowy figure, but the informant died suddenly and friends of the “Tortuga” recognised our captain who fought and fled to the ghost.

Meanwhile Seleusus the night crawler found his way to the council chambers to execute his hidden task but the fates turned against him and the scourge leapt fourth and twisted his words and demeanour, faced with strange figures and stranger offers of help, he retreated for the night. Almost simultaneously on the “ghost of Prometheus”

Luigi also suffered a backlash that ran yellow through his blood. The next night saw the recovery of Seleusus and his task. He found his mark poisoning a glass of water and fading into the night.

The new dawn brought an new member to the cabal sent by the Magistrate a profession of life sciences from the great university in Oxford England, one of the hippocratic circle.
However the city has been plunged into chaos at the Leader of the sky city high council has seemingly been assassinated, our well travelled captain Luigi is being investigated by the city guard for poisoning the patrons of the Cats Nipple, and a dark character attempted murder upon the decadent seer Alexandros but not before telling him that answers will be found twenty miles west of sky city at the setting of the sun.

Many questions needed answering so messages were sent one openly to the Magistrate and one secretly to a shadowy order.

After seeing visions of dangereous dark cluds, warnings were sent to the high council and "the Ghost of Prometheus" slipped out of harbour for a test flight as the sun set on the horizon. 20 miles west of Sky city as the golden sun set and the twilight rushed in a dark ship sail forth from dark clouds and fell upon the Ghost of Prometheus in a hail of cannon fire. The "Ghost of Prometheus" fought valiently out gunned and haunted by the ghostly crew aboard the attacking ship identified as "The Clandestine Folly". The captain luigi threw himself in a frenzy at the enemy ship but it was fruitless and "the Ghost of Prometheus" had to retreat back to sky city.

Back at sky city docks Carla from the high coucil awaited the cabals return a friend of Magistrate lorenzos! Seluses recieved a message from his order which led him to a safe house were vaask told him of plots and intrigues, and warned him of a rouge member about in the city. Meanwhile Luigi registered his ship in the skyrigger race due to take place in a couple of days.
