Herdon

Fredegar and Thomas began to investigate the approximate zone of habitation of Dennis Herdon. At first they met with little success but Fredegar's gut instincts tell him that one furtive gentleman might know more than he was revealing and so he followed him to an apartment block and snuck inside along with him unnoticed. As the man he tailed went into the bathroom Fredegar Jones flipped his way through a filofax and confirmed that he did indeed have Dennis Herdon in there.

Unfortunately exiting the apartment was a little trickier than entering, Fredegar attempted to quietly open the a sliding balcony door but it was locked and in lifting it out of its lock he created a considerable amount of noise. He managed to flee without being spotted but clearly the man was alerted to suspicious goings on. Thomas came through with some surveilance equipment and Fredegar, masquerading as an unobtrusive police officer attempted to tap that guy's ass and phone. He also asked for full OWL surveilance services.

The phone tap didn't go anywhere, but the owls advised that the man had gone into a restaurant - the owls seemed mistaken but digging deeper Fredegar discovered a guilded side dining room where a Brummie Herdon was talking with the man in question. Fredegar, masquerading as Thomas confronted Herdon who politely requested "Thomas" come back the following evening where Herdon would be happy to answer any questions about the item.

At the meeting the following evening Thomas went as Thomas and Fredegar as himself. Fredegar, naturally took pains to ensure that nobody noticed his horrendous visage. Thomas tried to wrangle the identity of the sellers from Herdon, but Herdon was unwilling since it would mean losing out on his 15% commission that he estimated would be in the order of $85,000

Though Fredegar was tempted to manipulate Herdon's free will in order to rob him of his commission, some voice in his dark recesses of his corrupted and stinking mind protested at the violation. While Fredegar wrestled with his conscience over this issue, Thomas negotiated a deal to pay Herdon the commission fee in return for getting the identities of the sellers. Herdon agreed and the meeting was over.

Fredegar organised the fund transfer and Herdon released the names, as promised: Sayles and Tomba.

Anthonio meantime, spotted somebody tailing him. Some godamn Hispanic guy wearing a bandana all backwards upside his face etc. He exchanged some pleasantries with his tail, but the kid didn't want to play ball so Anthonio decided to test out his driving skills with a little chase scene. Bad it would seem since the poor kid totalled the car. Anthonio happillly kidnapped him, had him tortured and learned that he had been paid by some anonymous man to trail Anthonio and report anything unusual to a certain telephone number. After a little bit of murder, Anthonio called the number stealing the voice of the young man and yelled warnings about how 'they are onto you man. They know what's going on.'

Fredegar found himself followed by Damien, but Damien was able to escape in their own private chase scene that concluded with Fredegar's Lumbago being totalled in one of those storm canal thingies. Nevertheless, Fredegar organised a meeting with Sayles and Tomba to bring in their own 'expert' to value the Apocrypha and found himself being followed again by some kind of Hispanic gang member. Fredegar heroically leaped from his bike and clothes-lined the motorcycling pursuer in a cunning doubling back maneouver. Unfortunately the guy was critically injured and died.

Fredegar then receieved a strange resin statuette representing some kind of 'fallen angel' and went to Anthonios to melt it down and discuss the meeting.

Jefferson

In a parallel story arc, Anthonio and Gideon attempted to use the secret grandexian medallion that Fredegar had been bequeathed to summon Jefferson but when Jefferson doesn't arrive in short measure they grew frustrated ...eventually Jefferson turned up in Chicago at the Succubus club, advising Fredegar that he has had to travel from Toronto where he was acting as Bishop. He was most put out with Fredegar for summoning and not joining the Sabbat or being in any danger or need. He told him he was not interested in the Garbage Barge and that last he had heard Neally was in New York, not as rumoured (via Ballard), dead.

Germany

Saul did not have any interesting facts about the Mage scenario to share with Trilobyte.

Garbage Barge

Arranging a party on the Garbage Barge, with zombie animal fights continued with wreckless abandon. Thomas attempted to invite Annabelle who regretfully advised that it would Bret's Embrace-Day party that weekend and besides, it would probably be for the best to avoid the contemptible Mr Jones.

Anthonio gives his drug collection to Gideon who made arrangements to have extra alcohol provided...with a little spiking.

Death and the Soul

When going to collect animal corpses from "Sledgehammer", Gideon and he had a fascinating discussion on the morality of death. Sledgehammer told Gideon that he had had the same mentor as his sire in the alternative methods for controlling the beast that is the Path of Death and the Soul. He offered to teach what he could to Gideon.
